Kelly Akemi Groth was born and raised in the Bay Area and has spent over a decade working on several local progressive campaigns, including candidates and ballot measures. She’s built a career at the intersection of field strategy, policy, and data – the work that turns a good campaign into a winning one.

Kelly spent five years at NextGen America managing several state budgets and operations, sharpening her eye for financial planning and organizational strategy. She then spent three years as a legislative aide at San Francisco City Hall, working directly inside the policy process she'd later help candidates run on.

Today, as founder of Growth Political Strategies, Kelly brings that full-circle experience – grassroots to City Hall to campaign command center – to every client she works with.
